Davide Caramella is Vice-Chairman of the Department of Oncology, Transplants and New Technologies in Medicine at the University of Pisa. He teaches Radiology to the medical students and the residents and is the Chairman of the three-year university program for radiology technicians. His main interests are imaging in oncology and the development and implementation of IT in diagnostic imaging. He was President of the EuroPACS Society (www.europacs.org), and is scientific director of EURORAD (www.eurorad.org). He is involved in the ECR Programme Committee, in the e-learning activities of the ECR, and in the ESR Information and Communication Technology Group.
